Exceptionally comfortable hotel in a pretty quiet area not far from all the restaurants, the bar / bistro, and the town and Windermere & Coniston. Recently refurbished room and decent sized with all requirements. Outstanding meal at in-house restaurant.

Accept dogs with no extra charges, free parking, free wifi in rooms, 32" LCD TV on wall, very comfortable room ( ask for a river view and you wont be dissappionted). Great breakfast and very friendly staff. Free use of the pool, sauna and whirlpool was an added bonus. Off all the hotels I have stayed in I rate this as possibly the best. Food in bar was excellent and reasonably priced. Central to the town and a park for the dog next to hotel was ieal for us.

Being next to the river & being able to take the dogs into the bar/food area. Food was good.
Room too hot & when opened windows was too noisy due to being next to road. Emergency services were frequently passing with sirens too. Bar service very slow & lack of atmosphere in bar

We loved the cozy feel of our family room with stunning river views! The pool was a hit with the kids too. Only downside was the breakfast options could’ve been hotter. 😊
