The family room offered ample space with a stunning view directly over the river, allowing for some scenic relaxation right from the window. The pool and spa facilities provided a delightful experience, especially for families with children looking to enjoy some aquatic fun.
The positioning of the kettle within the fitted dressing table recess posed a risk of accidentally cracking the mirror due to the boiling kettle, which could certainly have been better designed for safety. the room upgrades were noticeable but not critical. I found them comfortable yet slightly dated compared to the rest of the hotel. On the practical side, accessing the elevator required navigating stairs, which could be cumbersome with prams or wheelchairs. street parking often meant dealing with wet belongings, as the hotel entrance was quite a trek from the car park.

stayed for 3 nights n the room was a good size with an awesome view of the river. amenities like the pool n jacuzzi were nice too, but the jacuzzi was kinda ehh. staff were super helpful n friendly, made everything easier. the new bar n lounge area is really chill for hangin out and eatin. location is perfect, right by the train station n close to kendal centre, loved it!
the jacuzzi really wasn't workin right and it seemed like the cleanliness of the room could've been better.

Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even did some water workouts, which were refreshing. The views were stunning and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. The staff was friendly, ensuring we had a great stay. Breakfast was decent, but it could have been a bit warmer. The parking was convenient too, making everything easier for us.
One downside was that our room felt a bit cramped due to the three beds. It would have been better if there was more space for our personal items.

Had a lovely stay with my family in a cozy room with a stunning lake view, which was a real treat. We enjoyed the relaxing pool and sauna facilities, but the breakfast area could use a bit of tidying up as it felt a little sticky. it's a great spot for a peaceful getaway, just make sure to book meals in advance! 😊
